TRIBUTE is a celebration of the songs that formed the soundtrack of our youth, a homage to the legacy their artists have left for the music world.
Elvis's blue suede shoes, Marilyn's diamonds, Janis' Mercedes Benz, Dusty's preacher man, Freddie's crazy little thing, Kurt's teen spirit, Amy's rehab, plus many more from throughout the years - they're all remembered and showcased in this concert backed by a live band on stage.
There's Johnny O'Keefe shouting while Buddy Holly raves on. Don't forget Mark Hunter with the April sun in Cuba, while Peter Allen is with his baby in Rio. And of course there's Whitney Houston dancing with somebody while Chrissy Amphlett just wants all the boys in town. If there's a rock and roll heaven, they've got one hell of a band!
They are the artists and songs that we all grew up with: the artists may be gone, but their music still remains. For a strictly limited season, we're bringing it back to life this October with a live concert event. A collection of some of Melbourne's best voices supported by a live band, Tribute will be a trip down memory lane for the whole family.
