Be a part of the Committee!
All Committee of Management positions are declared vacant each year at our Annual General Meeting, where a new committee is nominated. Throughout the rest of the year the committee are always looking for volunteers to get involved.
What does it involve?
Being a part of the Committee need not be any more or less work than just being a member in general; nowhere does it say that being on the Committee means you have to work harder than you would otherwise, or that you have to be on the Committee to do any work. Being on the Committee gives you an opportunity to participate directly in the company decision making process, and stay on the bleeding edge of what’s happening at ACT. The minimum time commitment is very modest; you would be expected to attend approximately 10 meetings a year, usually held at the theatre on a weeknight. You do not need any special skills to be involved; just a desire to work as part of a team and see the theatre company prosper.
Who can I talk to about it?
Please contact our company president directly using the contact details provided above, or speak directly to any of our committee members who would happily get you on-board.
