No, we haven't found a cast foolish enough to be on stage and perform for 24 hours, nor do we think we could find an audience dedicated enough to sit and watch it for 24 hours.
The brainchild of Patt Ryan and Natalie Calia, the 24 hour panto takes the process of putting on a panto, and condenses that over a period of 24 hours. A cast has been chosen, and on Friday 17th July, they will meet for the first time, find out their characters, create a script, and rehearse until 8.00pm Saturday night, when they will then perform the hopefully hilarious result of the previous 24 hours.
With the production team consisting of Patt and Natalie, as well as Nathan Soutar and Mick "Della" Delaney, the resulting show promises to be an extremely funny and well choreographed show (well, we'll wait and see about the choreography).

Please note that this production is relatively unscripted and should be considered to have an 'M' rating, unlike pantomimes held in March. The content may not be suitable for children.

Performances will be held at the Altona Theatre, 115 Civic Pde, Altona (to the left of the council offices).
